The fairytale mood continued inside as partygoers sipped cocktails amid yet more festive animals, framed by sparkling swags of crystal curtains. For an extra touch of luxury, canapés came courtesy of the incomparable Dalloyau, with its 300-year-old royal gastronomic legacy as creator of sumptuous banquets for Louis XIV. While the stars mingled, admiring 1.2.3.’s coveted brand of Parisian chic, we spotted radio and TV presenter Vincent Cerutti, actors Olivier Barthélémy and Grégoire Hittner, actress Frédérique Bel, model-turned-actress Vanessa Demouy, television journalists Carole Gaessler and Kareen Guiock, designers Louis-Marie de Castelbajac and Stephane Verdino, actress and singer Nadège Beausson-Diagne, and the beautiful Miss France, Flora Coquerel.
As the glitterati of Paris’ media, fashion and film worlds strolled along the Avenue Des Ternes, there came a moment when everyone stopped and stared. Blazing across the street was a spectacular winter wonderland scene in the windows of iconic French brand 1.2.3. Paris. What they saw was a shimmering snowscape with frosted branches dripping with crystals, and radiant woodland creatures positioned on an eye-popping carpet of 20kg of dazzling loose crystals. As VIP guests, they were expecting to celebrate the flagship store’s elegant refurbishment and browse its new limited edition Swarovski crystal-embellished collection. What they weren’t expecting was this extraordinary crystallized makeover.
