Last night, Atelier Swarovski celebrated ten years with an exclusive exhibition and cocktail evening at Phillips Gallery in London, bringing to life the anniversary book Brilliant – The Story of Atelier Swarovski, published by Condé Nast, and I was lucky enough to attend!
Brilliant – The Story of Atelier Swarovski is edited by Bronwyn Cosgrave and published by Condé Nast. The luxurious coffee table book features introductions from Nadja Swarovski, Karl Lagerfeld and the late Hubert de Givenchy, as well as insightful interviews with several design collaborators, in-depth essays on light, technology and collaboration, and extraordinary photography from Carl Kleiner.
Past collaborators and friends of the brand, including Jourdan Dunn, Edward Enninful, Christopher Kane, Bianca Jagger, and Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos joined Nadja Swarovski for the cocktail celebration. Stunning film projections and light effects inspired by crystal illuminated Phillips Gallery, accompanied by a live DJ set by Mary Charteris.
The exhibition, curated by Simon Costin, took guests on an inspiring journey through a decade of Atelier Swarovski, showcasing unique pieces from the Swarovski archive, including crystallized dresses by Viktor&Rolf, Alexander McQueen and Givenchy; Atelier Swarovski jewelry and home décor collaborations by designers including Stephen Webster, Mary Katrantzou, Zaha Hadid, and Fredrikson Stallard; and the Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewelry Collection, which was launched last year.
Nadja Swarovski, Founder and Creative Director of Atelier Swarovski, commented: “We are thrilled to celebrate ten years of Atelier Swarovski with our incredible collaborators and friends, whose vision and creativity has made the brand what it is today. We are look forward to another extraordinary decade, and more.”
