This month, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and Swarovski are celebrating a unique fashion partnership—15 years of head-to-toe bedazzlement. Over that time we’ve seen it all: behind-the-curtain styling tips, sparkling pink-carpet interviews and supermodel careers sent into the stratosphere, along with pop-star spectaculars, front-row runway reveals, and the glitziest of glittering finales. Our favorite moments, however, have to be the fabulous bespoke Swarovski Looks. So let’s treat ourselves to a commemorative look back at some of the most unforgettable moments.

Jenny Manik Mercian’s fabulous 23-karat, gold-plated, antique copper Passion Play Fan Wings lit up 2011 with 105,000 Swarovski crystals. If her idea was to conjure a heavenly jewel-studded halo, then this gleaming outfit was a genuine treasure. A decade-long partnership was marked in 2012 with supermodels that included Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio and Cameron Russell. The latter brought the Swarovski Look to life for that special anniversary year with a show-stopping outfit complete with beaded train and dramatic Snow Queen-style collar.

Always looking to innovate, Victoria’s Secret and Swarovski collaborated on a stunning crystal-enhanced, 3D-printed look in 2013—the first digitally created outfit ever to appear on a catwalk. Lindsay Ellingson shone as she floated the filigree Snow Angel Look onto a crystal-dusted stage. Another first took place in 2014, when the Angels landed in London with the likes of Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Ariana Grande rocking the runway alongside them. Paris couturier and longstanding Victoria’s Secret collaborator Serkan Cura designed the handcrafted Swarovski Look worn by UK supermodel Lily Donaldson, a fairytale concoction of violets and pinks that shimmered with 150,000 crystals. Cura returned in 2015, sprinkling his stardust over Angel Martha Hunt with spectacular LED-lit wings blazing behind a lavishly crystal-beaded corset of bright jewel colors accented with gold.

Last year, the City of Light and the most romantic city in the world, Paris, opened its heart to the Angels. Josephine Skriver, having walked for the legendary lingerie brand since 2013, celebrated her first year as an official Victoria’s Secret Angel by wearing the Swarovski Look: 286,000 crystals scattered over a high-shine outfit that featured a sweeping crystallized fringe the full length of her arms. Sensational.

This year finds us counting down the hours to Shanghai, where the stage will be bigger than ever before and the crystal count has been upped even further (more than 700,000). We know only that Elsa Hosk will be wearing the 2017 Swarovski Look—which isn’t merely fit for an Angel, it’s worthy of a dazzling kaleidoscope of angels. Otherwise, we are saying no more. Our lips are sealed. Just be sure to watch the sexiest show on earth November 28.
