World Jewelry Facets Munich

A Starry Evening at Munich’s Villa Wagner

As befits its status as one of the German city’s glittering landmarks, Munich’s Villa Wagner sees many big occasions; but it sparkled with a special intensity on the night of November 2, 2016, when it hosted the World Jewelry Facets 2016 exhibition. Built in the early 20th century in the Art Nouveau style, it provided a magnificent backdrop for some of the world’s finest fashion jewelry.

On display were spectacular one-of-a-kind showpieces alongside some of the finest contemporary fashion jewelry, together with stunning commercial designer collections.Contributors to the exhibition were drawn from all over the planet—think designers such as Delphine-Charlotte Parmentier, On Aura Tout Vu, Hélène Zubeldia Paris, Heidi Daus, Jean Paul Gaultier for Swarovski, Caleidoscópio, Vendome Boutique, Roberto Giannotti, MAX&Co, and a great many other illustrious names.

Among the VIP guests enjoying the artistry were actress Annika Blendl, Caro Daur from, jewelry designer Saskia Diez, Senior Vice President Marketing, Swarovski Professional Dr. Roland Harste, moderator and model Cathy Hummels, sport moderator Jessica Kastrop, photographer and stage director Mike & Coco Kraus, model and actress Marie Nasemann, designer Lola Paltinger, Cultural Director, Swarovski Carla Rumler. An exhibition to remember.
