Designers Eduardo and Imelda Liem specializes in handmade, one-of-a-kind jewelry reminiscent of Baroque and Rococo art
If you’ve ever watched the Miss Universe pageant, chances are, you’ve seen a BaroQco design on the head of one of the contestants; after all, the brand has created crowns for Miss Netherlands, Germany and Singapore. BaroQco has also appeared at the ready-to-wear fashion weeks in New York, Rome, Shanghai, Beijing, Jakarta and Paris, as well as at the haute couture presentations in Paris since 2018.
Based in the Netherlands and designed by Eduardo and Imelda Liem, BaroQco is celebrated for its statement jewelry, which often draws on Baroque and Rococo artistic references. Each piece is hand-crafted using brilliant genuine Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones sourced from antique or private collections, or freshwater pearls that are cultivated, not mined. These are then set in recycled silver, gold or platinum—recycled in order to help eliminate demand for dirty minerals, then re-refined to ensure its quality.
