KARL LAGERFELD launches his first-ever jewelry collection

It’s not often that the fashion jewelry landscape visibly shifts. The Baselworld trade fair in Switzerland saw just such a seismic event take place on March 23 when KARL LAGERFELD debuted his very first jewelry collection. Created in partnership with Swarovski, it has all the trademark style of the iconic designer—classic Parisian chic with a rock-luxe edge—and is divided into three groups to reflect the brand’s distinctive DNA: Ikonic, Klassic Karl, and Essentials.

Are you in the mood to make a strong statement with your personal style? Then Ikonic encourages you to express your individuality with edgy, rock-influenced designs that include personalized charms, ear jackets, asymmetrical necklaces, and feminine pendants. Klassic Karl, meanwhile, offers playfully understated elegance with crystallized pieces based on Lagerfeld’s signature and his famous feline, Choupette. And for timeless go-with-anything wearability, Essentials is your go-to for sophisticated elegance with a twist. Its key items include crystal-encrusted chains, ear crawlers, and celestial motifs.

Throughout the collection you’ll find necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings that are plated with either gold, rose gold, or rhodium, then finished with crystals from Swarovski, pearls, studs, or chains. Most designs have adjustable sizing, too. After it launches in stores in September, you can expect to see two collections per year; with prices ranging from €50 to €250, it won’t be difficult to treat yourself, or be treated to, something precious and beautiful as often as you update your wardrobe.

KARL LAGERFELD jewelry will be available from ‘Swarovski Crystal Worlds’ retail locations, Karl Lagerfeld stores, karl.com, and selected retailers.
