A renaissance woman of incomparable style
The family business at home was garment manufacture. I remember being surrounded by beautiful textiles when I was growing up. I’m sure my love of fashion came from playing with all those colorful fabrics.
I’m a graduate of International Law, and I’m currently working on an LPC (UK Law) degree in London. It helps me fight for justice in my own small way. Law stimulates me intellectually while fashion blogging fulfills me creatively—the perfect balance!
I live between two of the best cities in the world: London and Amsterdam. I’m so lucky they are neighboring cities, because it takes just 35 minutes by plane to get from one to the other.
I had no idea what blogging was until after my internship at an influencer agency.I’ve always wanted to do something for women’s rights—with blogging, I noticed it was easy to inspire people and do some good in the world. I’ve always loved fashion and beauty, so it was easy to use this as a platform. I also wanted to show the power of social media to girls across the globe.
My personal brand is the product I’m selling, so I try to showcase my best side. But I do the opposite on Snapchat, where I keep it real, fooling around and making my audience laugh.
My signature style is timeless glamour with a touch of modernity. Wardrobe essentials include high-waisted jeans, ankle boots and the perfect boyfriend white shirt. Audrey Hepburn is my ultimate icon! She had a way of being classy in an effortless way.
The Swarovski/Wolf & Badger fashion shoot in London was so much fun. The team was great: Melanie (Galea, the photographer) kept trying to be serious to capture the looks the way she wanted, with the Swarovski and Wolf & Badger teams behind her making me laugh all the time.
I lo-o-o-o-ve the outfit and jewelry I wore for the Swarovski cover shoot. Putting on those jewels, I felt transformed into an Old Hollywood movie starlet.
It’s exhausting being ‘always on’, but it’s also fun. My job is to live a great life, share it, and inspire women. I’m too grateful to complain!
